Fitness Week Two

*sighs while banging head against the wall*

Well, I hurt...more than I really should...and I gained weight...  Now, I didn't really watch what I ate, as an experiment to see if just exercising could help me at least maintain my weight, and then start dieting later on to boost the process...well, I guess I need to start dieting now...  It seems I take after my grandfather in the fact that I literally have to starve myself and workout until I can no longer stand in order to lose weight...this fucking sucks...  On a lighter note, my measurements went down fractionally...

My Simself

I uploaded my simself to Cstyles the other day.  I'm pretty proud of her.  She's kind of a 'perfect' version of me...perfect skin...no rolls. lol  She's curvy, but sims don't actually have 'rolls' so to speak...even if they're enormous...  I had to use pretty much every slider out there on the market to get her to look right...I have a weird face. lol  And you really have to, to get a realistic-ish looking sim.  She's not 100% accurate, though...I have a tattoo on my let arm of my mother's signature, a small tattoo on my left breast that I did when I was 16...no, it didn't hurt, but I do regret it...and the bottom half of my hair is copper.  You can't really do that with hair in TS3, unfortunately, so I just went with my natural dirty dishwater brown hair. lol

Baked Mac and Cheese

I've been trying to find the perfect baked mac and cheese recipe and after severely altering Alton Brown's recipe, I think I found it. My boyfriend loves it, and I made it for my sister's wedding reception and got many compliments. I think it's all in the simplicity of it... Test it out and tell me what you think!  Also, if you need it converted to metric, let me know...

Tattoos I made years ago...

When Ambitions first came out and we were given the ability to have tatted sims...I jumped at the chance to create my own.... Unfortunately, I can't make them anymore because I no longer have photoshop. I've tried gimp, but they always come out fuzzy. :(  Anywho, there's a lot of them...34...

Fitness Day Two

Well, I damn near killed myself yesterday doing the fitness test. lol  I'm more out of shape than I thought...well, not really...just not very strong...which in all honesty, I don't really care if I can lift 50lbs easily, I just want to be able to run for 5 minutes straight without dying and to have my 23.5" corsetted waist back...

Anywho, I just did the first workout, and I'm sweating more than I thought I would...low impact, my ass. lol  I do plan on treadmilling for at least 30-45 minutes later today to burn some extra calories and to work out some of the soreness from yesterday.

Need to lose weight...

Since I quit my job at the end of February, I've gained over 20lbs. It sucked at first, but I just had to buy new jeans and a new bra, so it's starting to get really bad and noticeable. Also, I've gotten back into drinking soda, which isn't good...I was bad and bought a case the other day...I've been trying to avoid it coming to that, but yeah....

Anywho, the apartment complex where I live has a gym and I try to use the treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes, but I'm lazy and often 'forget' to do it. lol Plus, just walking on the treadmill for 30-60 minutes can get really boring.  So, I looked around on youtube for some easy workouts to do, and came across a lot of people doing stuff in their homes, and that was just too weird to watch...but then I came across some videos from a website called Fitness Blender which are quite professional looking and easy to follow. I went to the website, and found out they have a crap ton of videos for pretty much every part of the body at different intensities....and they're all free! Then I saw that for $4, they'll let you download a pdf that gives you a complete 8 week plan of which ones to do and for how long...totally grabbed that offer! Let's see if it works... It's kinda late in the day, but I'm still going to be starting today because Day 1 on the plan is just to do the fitness test.  Also, I'll probably be doing them later in the day anyway....

Also, I've decided to post my weight and measurements, not only to track my results, but also to embarrass myself into keeping it up...I'll only post them once a week, though...
